Meet Dr. Eshaghian
Shahrooz Eshaghian, MD, is an oncologist in Los Angeles, California, who specializes in a variety of cancers and blood disorders. He provides personalized care at Compassionate Oncology Medical Group, located in Century City. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Eshaghian attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology, graduating summa cum laude. He then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, located in the Bronx, New York, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and a distinction in research (hematology/oncology). Dr. Eshaghian completed his internship in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the same hospital. He rounded out his medical training with a fellowship in hematology/oncology at UCLA Medical Center, where he was also named Chief Fellow.
Dr. Eshaghian is affiliated with Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center & Orthopaedic Hospital, Olympia Medical Center, and Brotman Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, American Association for Cancer Research, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Iranian American Medical Association.
He has contributed his expertise to several publications, research studies, and presentations.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Eshaghian enjoys spending time with his wife and children. His interests include photography, cooking, traveling, basketball, swimming, running, teaching, reading, and watching movies.
